PUBLIC PRIVACY NOTICE
Privacy Policy
This Policy explains how Toura Passport collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use our websites, applications, membership, Explorer, Marketplace, Partner, Supplier, rewards, reservation and community services.
1. Who we are
Toura Passport is operated by Robby's World Holdings LLC through the Toura Global brand (“Toura,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Policy applies to Toura Passport services unless a feature presents a separate privacy notice.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account and profile information, such as name, email, password credentials handled through our authentication provider, profile photo, social links and preferences.
- Membership, Passport, saved-place, wishlist, journey, referral, inbox and community information.
- Reservation, order, traveler, fulfillment and customer-service information.
- Business, Partner and Supplier application information, including business identity, representatives, locations, payout or settlement preferences and submitted content.
- Payment-support information such as transaction references or uploaded receipts. Full payment-card details are generally handled by our payment providers rather than stored directly by Toura.
Information collected through use
- Device, browser, session, security, diagnostic and interaction information.
- Approximate or precise location when you choose to use location-based Explorer features and your device/browser permits it.
- Search queries, map interactions, selected Worlds, country and viewport context, saved places and place-provider identifiers needed to provide Explorer.
3. Google Maps and place information
Explorer uses Google Maps Platform for mapping and may use Google Maps Platform Places services for search, autocomplete and place discovery. When you interact with Google-powered features, information may be processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy and applicable Google Maps terms.
Toura may receive live Google Maps place content needed to display the result you requested. We design our integration to avoid building a permanent copy of Google Maps place content. Where permitted, Toura may retain durable provider identifiers such as a Google Place ID so a saved, referred or claimed place can be recognized later. Other Google Maps content is retained only as permitted by the applicable Google Maps Platform terms and policies.
Google Maps content is visually attributed in Explorer. Toura's own Partner status, rewards, membership and business-account information is separate from Google Maps content.
4. How we use information
- Provide and personalize Toura Passport, including authentication, Explorer, Passport, Marketplace, Community and workspace features.
- Process reservations, purchases, payments, fulfillment, settlements, points and customer support.
- Verify members, businesses, Partners, Suppliers and authorized representatives.
- Maintain safety, security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention and platform integrity.
- Send transactional communications such as security notices, confirmations, reservation or order updates, business-review notices and required account messages.
- Send optional product or promotional communications where permitted and consistent with your preferences.
- Measure and improve performance, usability, search relevance and service reliability.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
5. How we share information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate Toura Passport, including cloud hosting, authentication, mapping, payment processing, email, communications, analytics and security providers. We may also share information with the applicable Partner, Supplier, provider or customer when needed to complete a reservation, order, benefit, payout, support request or other transaction.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate fraud or abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of all or part of the business subject to appropriate safeguards.
Toura does not sell personal information to advertisers.
6. Payments
Card payments may be processed by payment providers such as Stripe. Local or bank-transfer methods may involve financial institutions and may require you to provide a reference number or payment receipt to Toura for verification. Payment providers process information under their own privacy notices and legal obligations.
7. Location information
Explorer can use your location to center the map, show relevant places or improve local search context. Location access depends on your device and browser permissions. You can deny or revoke location permission through your device or browser settings; Explorer can still be used through manual map movement, search and country/world controls, although some location-based features may be less precise.
8. Cookies, local storage and similar technologies
Toura Passport may use browser storage, cookies or similar technologies for sign-in continuity, security, preferences, interface state, referral continuity, cart or checkout state and other functional purposes. Third-party integrations may use their own technologies according to their policies.
9. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain the service, complete transactions, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, satisfy legal or accounting requirements and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and legal obligation.
Third-party content is retained according to the applicable provider's rules. In particular, Google Maps Platform content is subject to Google's storage and caching restrictions, while permitted identifiers such as Google Place IDs may be stored for later use.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing of your personal information, or request a portable copy. You may also manage available profile-visibility and notification preferences inside Toura Passport.
To exercise a privacy right, contact us using the address below. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request. Some information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting or transaction-record purposes.
11. International processing
Toura and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing and remain subject to applicable privacy law.
12. Security
We use administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, and users should protect account credentials and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
13. Children
Toura Passport is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. Where a particular service permits minors, any required parental or guardian consent and age-specific protections will apply.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as Toura Passport, applicable law or provider requirements change. The posted “Last updated” date identifies the current version. We may provide additional notice for material changes where appropriate.
